As with any equipment everything has limitations, our products are not rated, but you should never exceed the ratings of any other equipment in a system. We are not liable for any damages due to overloading. Please confirm that this is compatible with your bracket, this is not compatible with the HTX or sport duty plows. If you are unsure if it will fit your vehicle measure the diameter of the holes in the truck side mount, if they are 3/4" you have a light duty plow and need the HTX bracket, if they are 1" this is the bracket you need. There are other differences in the 2 but that is the easiest way to distinguish them. Made In The USA
