VIET NAM, A BRIEF ENCOUNTER OR A LOVE AFFAIR.

This book gives an account of three months of my time in Viet Nam that passed by far too quickly, I wanted to visit the country to see if I fancied it as a place to go and teach English as a Foreign Language (EFL), to get a feel for the culture, people, food and language schools.Some of my experiences are relayed in this book, it is not a diary or blog as such, but a collection of musings and happenings which occurred whilst I was in the country; it will, I hope, provide you the reader with an insight into my time there, the good, the bad and the ugly. The book is not a travel guide but there should be some useful pointers for anyone that fancies a trip to the country, especially Hanoi, where I was predominately based, especially if you are looking to go and teach English in Viet Nam.My thanks go out to the Vietnamese people for their warm welcome and care that they showed for me; if you want to meet a beautiful people, I wager you will struggle to find a better example than the Vietnamese.
